In the given question, we are asked to find to find point which intersects Y axis.

So, the y coordinate would be equal to 0

y = 0

Now, let's Substitute the value of y in the given equation to find out the value of x.

2x + 3y = 6

→ 2x + 3(0) = 6

→ 2x + 0 = 6

→ 2x = 6

→ x = 6 ÷ 2

→ x = 3

∴ The value of x = 3

We have got the value of x and y.

So, the co-ordinate would be (x, y) = (3, 0)

∴ The coordinate which intersects Y axis is (3, 0)

KNOW MORE:

When this (3, 0) is plotted on the graph, it would intersect Y axis.
