The given image shows the process of budding in yeast cells.

Budding:

Budding is a mode of asexual reproduction in which the new child organism develops from the parent organism evolving as a new organism from a part of the parent's body. This mode of asexual reproduction is mainly seen in single celled organisms such as yeast and hydra.

Process:

At first, a tiny module formation can be observed on the surface of the parent organism. Later on the this bud starts developing and the division of nucleus and other parts of the cell takes place. After complete formation, the cell membrane also gets dissected from the parent organism and a new daughter cell is formed. In yeast, multiple cell divisions can be observed.

Modes of Reproduction:

⇒ Asexual reproduction:

In asexual reproduction, only one parent organism takes part in the process. There is no fusion of male and female gametes and the new cells are usually dissected from the parent. The new cells look similar to the parent cells as there is no kind of DNA changes. Some examples of asexual reproduction are budding, fragmentation etc.

⇒ Sexual reproduction:

In sexual reproduction, the requirement of both male and female parents is a must. After the fusion of male and female gametes, a baby organism is formed. The development of the baby usually takes place inside the body of the female and the baby's characteristics will be similar to both the parents as there is a combination of both the DNAs.
