“Dilli Chalo” or “March to Delhi” slogan was given by “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose” on “March 21, 1944”. It was given to the Indians in Singapore and Burma to motivate and encourage them to fight against the Britishers. Though the slogan was coined during the time when the “Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army)” was formed, i.e., days following October 21, 1943, it was only on March 21, 1944 that the slogan reached India from Singapore.
