India got independence in 1947 after nearly 200 years of struggle.

There were many battles fought, many uprisings held, many suppression put on and many lost their life for this country. Independence was not a cake walk for the freedom fighters. They showed great valor and dedication to make this happen.

In this journey, many events happen from separation between the people to separation of one country into two nations. Bloodshed was became a reality and everybody has to pay the cost of getting Independence on their terms.

With the rising sun, and sound of chirping birds, India woke up with new enthusiasm on 15 August 1947. Still a debate was arising on the leadership of this country. Some suggested to go with Gandhian Ideology and Some as a Socialist Government. Every person has their concern over the independence and the administration that this country will have.

Although there were many ideologies prevailing, India got its Constitution on 24 November 1949 as some parts were came into force.

The declaration of complete sovereignty was shouted out in Constituent Assembly after this day and hence new principles and thoughts embolden the country.

Independence for India was not a path of roses yet we got it with the self determination and courage of our Freedom Fighters.
