Independent India is called as divided and partitioned India during the independence period.
EXPLANATION:
During Independence many riots and tensions prevalent in the Northwestern part and Northeastern part of the country. Many sectors are demolished by the British, there is no industrialization, low production in agriculture, lack of modern technology in all sectors.
