\huge{\sf{\underline{Solution:-}}}

\sf{\boxed{Rs 15000}}

\huge{\sf{\underline{Explaination:-}}}

\large\bigstar{\sf{\underline{Given:-}}}

  • Let say salesman make a sale of Rs 5000 + 10S
  • Excess sale made over 5000 = 10S

  • Commision on 10S = (10/100)10S = Rs S

  • Earning = Salary  + Comission

=> 2000 = 1000 + S

\sf{\boxed{=> S = 1000}}

Sale = 5000 + 10S = 5000 + 10(1000) = 15000

He made  a sale of Rs 15000

According to the question we have given :-

On sale of ₹5000 sales-man make 10% S (extra)

So, if 10S = is madeover by extra sale

A.T.Q let commission taken on 10 S is be “ x ”

 \tt \implies  \: Earning = Salary + Commission \\  \:  \\    \\  \tt \implies \: Rs. \: \: 2000 = Rs. \: 1000 + x \\  \\  \tt \implies \: x = 2000 - 1000 \\  \\  \tt \implies \: x = 1000

Hence, Sale = 5000 + 10(S)

= 5000 + 10(1000)

= 5000 + 10000

= 15000

Hence, he made a sale of ₹ 15000
