This implies that India has a prominent position in the world. The population increase tells how much developed we Indians are and how we can manage such a big amount of people in such a small country( India is the 7thlargest country in the world). The resources of India are also well utilised by us. This tells us that even though India is a small country and occupies very little percentage of geographical area of the world , we are capable of supporting a large population without much difficulty.
