The perfect number of articles are there but there are many amendments in it also which increase the sets of law.

At present there are, 448 articles in 25 parts, 12 schedules, 5 appendices and 98amendments in the Indian Constitution. As compared to when it was written it had, 395 articles in 22 parts and 8 schedules at the time of commencement. Although, the others have already answered about the numbers.
