(c) a world where nuclear weapons are selectively held by few countries
Answers
Answer:
a
Explanation:
India always wants a nuclear free world
Answer:
India and its nuclear policy.
Explanation:
Friends, one thing I would like to clear here that India has never mentioned that it supports Nuclear Weapon Free World. Now if That was the fact, then How come India had actually tested its first Nuclear 1998!
India had successfully done a nuclear bomb test in Pokhran in 1998 on 11th May for the very first time.
India still has a Nuclear policy that only states tha:-
“India Support No First Use Policy”. There certainly is a very big difference between No first use and Never to Use policy. This is what you have to understand and so when speaking of the first option “a nuclear weapon free world” it is certain that if this was India policy then India would have never manufactured its batch of Nuclear weapons.
A civil agreement was signed by India in 2016 that clearly mentions it supports no first use Policy, but it aims at holding nuclear weapons. In fact, India is also having a thermonuclear weapon, which is after China, as announced.
The nu first use policy is an agreement that has been observed and signed by 15 other countries along with India. India today is a Nuclear developed country.
Now coming to the second option a world where every country has a nuclear weapon, it is certain that India is concerned about countries like North Korea and Pakistan (just two to name) holding nuclear weapons. So it is obvious that it cannot agree that all countries around the world should have a nuclear weapon.
As a preventive measures India has also been taking steps to ensure that it develops a technology to help shield against Nuclear weapon attack (may be in the future). So this option too cannot be correct.
But now speaking of the third option, yes this is possible as India has always been supportive about Few countries that are responsible should in fact have the power to hold nuclear weapons till they decide not to use it against any other country. So I think the most appropriate option to this answer should be option c a world where nuclear weapons are selectively held by few countries.
