Heya ☺
India has parliamentary form of government both at the centre and in the states in following ways : -
◆ There is a close relationship between the legislature and the executive.
◆ The Council of Ministers is constituted from amongst the members of the legislature which holds office so long as it enjoys the confidence of the legislature.
◆ The Head of the State , the President in case of India , is a nominal head.
◆ In practice all these powers are excercised by the Council of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister.
◆ We have adopted this system on British pattern.
Thanks
