Agriculture is the main profession of our country and that's why India has the largest percentage of its land under agriculture use.

The reasons behind the predominance of agriculture in our country are;

1) Fertile land for agriculture and suitable climatic conditions.

2) Easily available labour workers in a cheap price rate.

3) Cheap transportation services.

4) Demand of harvested crops in both national and international markets.

And many more.
