India is a country and there are more than 1 billion citizens. The Olympic medal is not so easy to win. Many youngsters train hard for many years but still they're not eligible to participate in the Olympics. The competition level is too high and most of the parents and children in India are focused on studies and they don't prefer sports. Let's suppose that a youngster is really good at his level. He's participating in under 14 competition. Most of the organizers of the competition are corrupt and the coaches are sneaky. They let those sportspersons to participate whose ages are more than that age group for which the competition is being held. They are way better than the young people for whom the competition is really being organised. This is why those young people lose in the competition and cannot participate in other competition on higher levels. The sportspersons with fake personal information dare not participate in National level competition because a bone test is done of all the participants and they would be caught and banned. These are some of the reasons why Indians still struggle to participate in the Olympics.
