India is a socialist - Secular State:

  • India is a secular state since it does not control any other faith. People are free to choose their own religion. They should pursue the religion of their choice. All religion is the same in the court of law.
  • The govt does not rule a particular religion. A secular state is a abstraction of secularity, whereby a government in matters of religion is or appears to be officially neutral, endorsing neither religion nor irreligion.
