Answer:
Exercising Universal Suffrage Wisely
There is immense power in suffrage. People of a country can use it for the development and advancement of their country. India is a young and vibrant democracy that needs to mature and consolidate its position in the world. The only people who can make that happen are the young voters in the age group of 18-30. These young voters can make the Government work efficiently and honestly with the power of their suffrage.
The right to vote gives the people of a country power to get rid of all the ills that their country might be facing. If the Government is not administering the nation honestly and progressively, the people can change that government by using their right to vote.
In India people changed governments in states and at the center whenever any elected Government did not come up to people’s expectations.
However, in certain cases, people don’t use their right to vote righteously and wisely. They just misuse this power. The young voters should always use their right to vote for the welfare of all and for justice and promoting democratic values. They should never ever waste their right to vote by opting not to vote.
They should always vote to the right leader, political party by rising above the narrow ideologies of caste, color, creed, and religion.
