The Indian Ocean routes which connect the countries of Europe and other popular places provide a strategic central location in India.

No other country has a long coast line on the Indian Ocean other than India.

Very thickly populated parts of the world such as China , Japan and South east asia lie very close to India.

The oil rich countries of the persian gulf are not very far from our country India.We recieve bulk of oil supplies from beng at the head of the Indian Ocean.

Our country India is very well connected with countries both through airways and sea routes.

The country India occupies a stragetic position and a commercially favourable location in respect of Asia , Africa and Australia.
