India’s first-ever online and centralized National Database on Sexual Offenders (NDSO) has been launched by [D] Ministry of Home Affairs.
Union Mister Rajnath Singh launched this on September 20, 2018.
India will become 9th country to hold and maintain such database.
Every detail of the convicted sexual defenders will be recorded in the database.
It is a safety initiative under National Mission for Safety of Women.
