  • The planet "X" involved in India's Maiden Mission is Mars.

(b) Two features of the planet:

  1. The planet is very cold with temperature of -50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Due to the presence of rusty iron in the ground of Mars, it appears red. Thus it is called a red planet.

(c) 2 Conditions responsible for unavailability of water in liquid condition:

  2. Pressure of 600 Pascals.
