- Lack of proper infrastructure, tourists are greeted with roads having big holes,or some placed no roads at all.

-Wide spread cheating: tourist whether domestic or foreign, get a higher price tag than locals.

-Dual Charging; Foreign tourist are charged more at many Govt. tourist places like tajmahal, that create a feeling of government as greedy business men in their minds.

Unnecessary Documents: even if you are local tourist hotel staff demand photo ids and other document and if you are unmarried couple, hotel staff view you with suspicion, that drive away tourist.

wide difference between what is publicized and what is actually there, many places in tourist brochures are eulogized as heaven on earth, but in actual they are worse than hell.

6. Lack of trained manpower: most of people working in tourism have no formal education in tourism.they just are their to make a living or dihadi.

Negative image of country like happening in kashmir and incident like just a few days ago man hit by tempo in delhi lied their for three hour unattended bleeding on the road create a negative image that drive away the tourist.

Misinformation: touts working in tourism spread false information about the place from where they get low or no commission.Tourist by himself cannot authenticate this information and thus misguided.
