Every year 14th November is celebrated as Children's Day. This day is important because on this day Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday is made. He was the first Prime Minister of Independent India. He had a lot of affection and affection for children. They were very much liked among children and they liked to play with children and talk. The children used to call them Chacha Nehru to express respect and affection for them.

On 14th November, to celebrate this festival and pay homage to Pandit Nehru, people (including Cabinet Ministers and high officials) gather near their statue (where their funeral was held). Prayers and hymns are performed by the officials after offering floral wreaths on their tomb. Children participate in various activities in schools to remember their dedication and contribution to the country, achievement in international politics and peace efforts. Cultural programs such as patriotic songs, music, speech, drama etc. are also organized.
