It is both rigid and flexible. It is flexible because provisions may be amended or modified by ordinary legislative process. In case of rigid constitution special procedures are required for amending them. ... Because of these provisions, the Indian Constitution is characterized by a mixture of flexibility and rigidity.

Answer:

The Indian Constitution is neither purely rigid nor purely flexible.

This is Rigid because some idea's in Constitution likely equality secularism democracy can't be changed. This is because the rulers could not misuse their power.

On the other hand, It is called flexible because there is a provision for amendment. Some of the articles can be changed if the people demand.
