Because it has both best and worst things which make it rigid and it is too flexible

it is rigid and flexible both it is flexible because the provisions may be amendedor modified by ordinary legislative process in case of rigid constitution special procedures are required for amending them because of these provisions the Indian Constitution is characteristics by a mixture of flexibility and rigidity
