semi- feudal economy refers zamindar system . under british rule indian economy was a semi- feudal economy under which govt. charge fixed tax of land to zamindar (who was landlord) but their is no restriction on landlords . so landlords charge more rent from tillers ( who works on land) but after independence indian govt. set a fix average under which landlords can charge rent from tillers
