large dam are very useful
1)it helps in control of flood
2) it also helps in generating electricity
3) it also maintain the level of water of rivers
4)it protect the land from being barren as when ever drought occur waters are leaved from dam
it has also disadvantage:
1) aquatic life got effected
2) large population get dispersed
3) large area required for dam which can also be used for agriculture
we experience that we are on any small plateaus and there is awesome scenery from dam
