social groups are those which are formed on basis of social division
so basically they pass laws to benefit groups like scheduled castes , scheduled tribes,women ...we can see this basically in the political arena, for ex:
sc's and st's have reserved seats and women as well but only in local governments and such groups even include economically backward groups
