Indian Ocean is the only ocean to be named after a country. Why??

=> This region pretty much dominated the trade in the Ocean.

=> There is no land mass to the south of this region until we hit Antarctica.

hey mate ur ans
indian ocean is only the ocean to be named after a country INDIA because in the the past historical Time it used serve the main trade channel of indian subcontinent
while others ocean are kept on their main center inside those ocean or due to there latitude and longitude
