Indian secularism works to prevent the domination of of religion through a strategy of non-interference which means that in order to respect the sentiments of all the religions and not interfere with religious practices.The state makes certain exceptions for particular religious communities.Ex:the sikhs in delhi don't have to wear a helmet as wearing a pugri is very important for them..
