Isaac Asimov wrote more than 400 volumes, Guiness Book of World Records says South African writer Mary Faulkner, UNDER 6 pen names, has a total of 904 books. L. Ron Hubbard published a total of 1084 fiction + non-fiction works (ibid 2006). Phillip Parker has written over 1 million books (how to books) but Amazon lists only 133,501. The books are self-published + printed when ordered, Professor Parker doesn’t actually write any of these books, he has instead written a slew of computer algorithms that do the writing for him, turning out, say, at least six books about the outlook for bathroom toilet brushes.
