Perhaps because they don't like fighting for criminals like the British who subjugate and ethnically cleanse land much like the “enemy” Nazis. No but in reality India fought in the allies and axis. The Indian army in the axis was fighting for freedom and liberation of India. Indians in the allied army also fought.
