➡️the flow of energy in a food chain is always unidirectional and continuous because the organisms at higher trophic levels are always dependent on the one present at the lower trophic levels for food .
➡️producers like plants and algae produce their own food and provide others too ...
we never see a plant dependent on organisms present at higher trophic levels like cow or goat , or we don't see cow dependent on lion .
