  1. Non -renewable resources like coal, petrol, etc. which take a lot of time for their formation can get exhausted. This will be deprive the later generations of those resources that are primarily and essentially required for infrastructural development.
  2. Excessive use of coal and petrol will increase the emission of green house gases like carbon dioxide, water vapour and methane that would increase the rate of global warming and climate change.
  3. Excessive use of timber will increase deforestation that in turn would affect the ecological balance and disturb the food chain and food web, thereby causing many species to be severely endangered or even extinct.
