False.
The vowels in the Indo aryan languages have just been changed to reflect increasing education levels and ease of pronunciation and the written word. The traditional pronunciation and use of the vowels has been changed to modern vowel sounds and writing. This leads to words being spoken and written easily although the pronunciation still remain traditional.
