Indomitable Spirit of Man
Spirit is God’s divine part in man
through which he can overcome any obstacle. All the revolutions, innovations,
inventions, discoveries, and impossible feats in all the fields were done by men
and women of indomitable spirit. William Ellery
Channing, the great American preacher has rightly said, ‘Difficulties are meant
to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong by conflict.’
The greatest example of the indomitability of the man’s spirit has been Jesus’s life. He taught mankind the secret to find the invincible power of the spirit within one’s own self through righteous living and high uncompromising moral character. He overcame all adversity and finally death with the indomitable power of Son of Man’s spirit.
There are many great personalities who did miracles with the indomitable power of spirit personages such as Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Helen Keller, Mahatma Gandhi, and Dr. Kalam and so on.
So if you also want to achieve the impossible and want to do, become, and have anything, find this power of indomitable spirit in you. It is inside you, not anywhere else.
Answer:
Indomitable spirit is a hard tenet to grasp — even the words seem hard. Abominable spirit. Abdominal spirit. The words come out all jumbled. But from this tenet comes the strength to not just persevere, but to rise above one’s Self.
“There is in this world no such force as the force of a man determined to rise. The human soul cannot be chained,” according to W.E.B. DuBois.
Breaking it down, indomitable means incapable of being overcome, subdued or vanquished. Spirit has a variety of meanings: the soul; the animating life force; the part of a person associated with the mind, will and feelings; strong loyalty and dedication (i.e., team spirit). Spirit also means to impart courage and determination.
