The land of natural beauty Assam is paired with land of valour Rajasthan under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative to promote national integration. Both the states are known for tourism, sports, foods and culture and heritage. The people from Rajasthan have played an important role in the development of Assam's culture and tradition.

They had contributed in art and culture, Assamese literature as well as in business. The forefather of one of prominent filmmakers, writer, poet of the country Jyoti Prasad Agarwala came to Assam from Rajasthan. Film critic Nayan Prasad recalled the contribution of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala and his family.
Both the states are enjoying a strong cultural bond over the past several years. Now onus is on the new generation to further boost up the relation through language, literature and art and culture.
