Inert gases are also known as Noble gases . These are the
gases which are stable in nature in the sense that they have
attained their stability by attaining their duplet as in the case of
Helium or octate as in the case of other inert gases such
radon, Krypton, xenon, etc and don't react to form chemical
compounds under normal circumstances.
EXTRA KNOWLEDGE : In the Periodic table, the Noble gases
are assigned a group known as the Zero Group which is the
eighteenth group of the Periodic table
