Given:

The infant prepared 2/5 of the presentation  on Tuesday night, 1/3 of the remaining presentation on Wednesday night

To Find:

What fraction  of the original presentation would Infant have to do on Thursday night to perform the  presentation on Friday morning?

Solution:

Let's assume the total original presentation content be = x

\begin{center}\begin{tabular}{ c c c }\\       & Content Prepared & Remaining Content \\\\\\ Tuesday night & $\frac{2}{5}$x  & x - $\frac{2}{5}$x = $\frac{3}{5}$x   \\\\   Wednesday night & $\frac{1}{3}$ $\times$ $\frac{3}{5}$x = $\frac{1}{5}$x  & $\frac{3}{5}$x - $\frac{1}{5}$x =  $\frac{2}{5}$x \\\\Thursday night  & $\frac{2}{5}$x\end{tabular}\end{center}

Hence, 2/5 of the original presentation prepared on Thursday night.
