Inferential comprehension is a capability to process written information and understand core meaning of any text.

This information is used to confirm deeper meaning that's not stated.

Inferential comprehension needs readers to join ideas, get conclusions and evaluate information

Higher and more complex level of comprehension involves critical analysis which needs readers to: be critical, form opinions, identify authors' points of view and attitudes

Find and grant authority of texts and their messages

Critical analysis should be introduced very early.

Use of 'Six Thinking Hats' strategy is one effective way.

Inferential comprehension is the capability of one to process written information and understand the underlying principle and meaning of the text.

This information is then used to refer internally or interpolate deeper meaning that is not explicitly stated in the text.

Inferential comprehension requires readers to make them combine ideas.

Reading is bound to be obstructed if the ability to understand the meaning of a passage of text is lost due to spelling out all the information clearly.

From context source within a passage, the author gives information about the plot, characters, setting, and duration and other elements of the story by the things he or she infers.
