Informal Letter
Your younger brother is studying in a hostel. He just went back after spending holidays with you and you saw a drastic negative change in him. He focused more on his looks and his clothes, maintaining his social media account and less on the manners that he must follow. He constantly argued and quarrelled with the family members too. Your family got irritated with his behaviour and you felt that maybe he is behaving like this due to the peer pressure. He may have been influenced by his friends in hostel and is trying to be like them in order to fit into the group whereas deep down you know that your brother is a nice, gentle, well-mannered and studious boy. Being an elder brother, write a letter to your brother to make him understand that why being under peer pressure is wrong and how he can deal with it in his hostel. Dear Vignesh
I trust this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I hope your classes have started in full swing and you are finding your hostel life comfortable.
As mentioned in your last letter, I suppose you must be having a lot to study, to face the exams that are coming up.
However, I just wanted to remind you, not to ignore your health. Please do involve yourself in games or any active sport. Remember that a healthy mind, needs a healthy body. Maintain a schedule in which you devote time to physical activity. Eat sensibly and keep off excessive junk foods too.
