cutaneous respiration is a type of respiration occur across the skin or outer integument of an organism(here frog as asked by u)rather than gill or lungs.Lungs in frog are primitive as compared to humans or other organisms like amniotes,so the rate of oxygen entering their body is very low to survive so they respire through their skin. The skin should remain moist to allow more diffusion of oxygen at a sufficiently rate,as oxygen cocentration inc. in both low and high temprature, frog can rely on cutaneous respiration fully.
