A frog is an amphibian, but adult frogs do not have gills. They absorb oxygen from the water through their skins, using special blood vessels. If the oxygen level in water is too low, frogs will move around to increase the water flow across the skin. Some frogs have creased skins that can increase their surface area.and to a lesser extent in mammals, including humans. hope my asnwer would be helpful to u:)

Since frogs lack lungs, they respire through their gills in water.. But, in unsuitable circumstances, when respiration through gills is not possible, (such as the hibernation or the submerge period) the frogs respire the oxygen using their skin which is called the cutaneous respiration.
