Endoplasmic reticulum means a network of membranous tubules with in the cytoplasm of a Eukaryotic cell, continuous with nuclear membrane .It usually has ribosome and is involved in protein and lipid synthesis.There are two types called smooth endoplasmic reticulum and rough endoplasmic reticulum.

Plastids are found in plant cells and euglenoides . Chloroplast,chromoplast and leucoplast are three types of plastids depending on pigment contained.
