- Fractions are known as part of whole. They are having two parts which are numerator and denominator. The numerator is the number above in the fraction, and the denominator is tye number below. The fractions are further divided into three types. They are Proper fractions, Improper fractions and Mixed fractions.
- Proper fractions are the fractions in which the numerator is smaller compared to denominator.
- Improper fractions are the fractions in which the numerator is greater compared to denominator.
- Mixed fractions are the fractions which consists of a whole number and a proper fraction together.
