Haritha haram is a large scale tea plantation programmes which is stated from the Indian state of telengana. It increase the amount of tree cover in the state from 24% to 33% in the state. This program was launched by Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao on 3 July 2015. It is one of the Telangana Flagship programmes to rejuvenate degraded forests and protecting the forests from threats such as smuggling, encroachment, fire and grazing by Animals.
