The Himalayan mountain range is a chain of young fold mountains.

The Himalayas rose because of the result of the tectonic movements in the earth's crust.

It has three parallel ranges - Himadri, Himachal, and Shiwalik.

It acts as a natural barier or wall which protects our country from the cold winds blowing from central Asia.

Its ranges are full of medicinal plants.

It is full of many beautiful tourist spots and hill stations.

The Himalayan range is a part of the mid world mountain belt.

This ranges are of crustal instability and therefore prone to earthquakes.

It is all that I can include here.

Hope it helps.

Thank you
