james clerk maxwell was born on 13 june, 1831 in edinburg ,uk and died on 5 th november ,1879 in cambridge, uk.his wife was katherine clerk maxwell .he was a  famous scientist.he recieved many awards ,some were- rumford medal, smith's prize and the keith prize.he was known for many things for example maxwell's equations, displacement current ,maxwell's demon ,etc
