Kumah or Pumpkin is a terrestrial, dichotomic plant whose stem is tall, weak and green. There are small crows on the stem. It grows or climbs with the help of its attractions. Its leaves are green, wide and circular. Its flower is yellowish, smooth, regular and imperfect. Male and female flowers are different. In both male and female flowers, there are five pairs of sepals and five pairs of yellow colored leaves. There are three stamens in the male flower, in which two are made of a pair and the third is independent. In female flowers, there are three joint crates called the Yuktandap. Its fruit is long or spherical. Many seeds are found within the fruit. The weight of the fruit can range from 4 to 8 kg. The largest species of Maxima is more than 34 kg. It is grown almost all over the world. The United States, Mexico, India and China are its largest producing countries. This plant is of one year old.

It is a cultivar of squash plant most commonly of curcurbita pepo that is round , smooth , slightly ribbed skin and deep yellow to orange coloration. The thick shell contains pulp and seeds. Pumpkins were found in Mexico but were first originated in North America. Pumpkin fruit are a type of botanical berry also called pepo. Cultivation of pumpkins : they are carved into Jack ó lantern on the festival of Halloween which is celebrated in North America when pumpkins are cultivated. It is also good for health.
