Thallophyta are the most "primitive plants" which are highly simple in nature.
EXPLANATION:
These plants do not have a differentiated body structure. In other words, the roots, stems and leaves are not well-defined in these plants.
Thallophyta usually have a cellular wall around the cells. The entire plant body forms what is known as a thallus. These are usually aquatic plants. The most common example of thallophyta is algae. Fungi and lichens are also thallophytes.
