• Informal sector is neither included in the GDP and GNP nor taxed. Vendors, hawkers, marketers, cross border traders and artisans are included in informal sector.
• Easy entry, negligible capital investment, reliance on indigenous resources intensiveness of labour and highly competitive market characterize the activity of economy in case of informal sector.
