Vana Bharathi Jana Harathi is a program launched by E TV in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This initiative is related to save water. campaign is to save rain water by digging suitable pits.
The program is for growing a lot of plants in the villages and towns of the two states. Every few days and week-ends, there are Vana Bharathi Jana Harathi program organized in some town, where thousands of saplings are sown. This program has been started in june (2016). People and students are made to promise that they will save the plants that have been planted by watering them regularly.This program is to make people aware of greenery, plants, trees and their importance in our lives. hope it helps.
