Newton's First Law. Newton's First Lawstates that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. It may be seen as a statement about inertia, that objects will remain in their state of motion unless a force acts to change the motion.

there are three laws of motion
first law states that
When a body remians at rest i.e.there is not acceleration on it then the sum of all forces is zero and even vice versa
second law of motion
The acceleration of a body can be given by the sum of all the forces i.e.the resultant force to divided by mass
third law of motion
For every action there is equal and opposite reaction such that the forces should be of same nature
Hope this helped u
:-)
