.it is the innermost and smallest planet in the solar system.it is nearest to the sun. its rotation period is 59 days and revolution period is 88 days(fastest in solar system).
it does not have atmosphere and satellite. it has the highest diurnal of temperature and also has the shortest year..etc

Mercury is the smallest and innermost planetin the Solar System. Its orbital period around the Sun of 87.97 days is the shortest of all the planets in the Solar System. It is named after the Roman deity Mercury, the messenger of the gods.
